Plastic Tracker app for iPhone and iPad

Plastic Tracker is an app designed to help keep track of 3D printer plastic spools used by 3D printers. Up to 10 different plastic spools can be stored at a time, keeping track of the print time of the spool, price of the spool, material the spool is made of, current amount of plastic on the spool, how much of the spools plastic has been used, the price per hour to use the printer with this plastic, the price per gram of the plastic, and the starting amount of plastic on the spool.

To create a new spool, press create new spool and enter the name of the spool, the number of grams the spool has, the plastic material the spool is made of, and the price of the spool in dollars.

To edit a spool, in other words, to update a spool after a print, simply click on the spool’s name from the main menu and then input the number of grams used in this print. Then input the additional amount of time in minutes the print took.

If a print error or failure occurs, make the best possible guess as to the amount of time the plastic was being fed for and how many grams were used. One possibility is to measure the mass of plastic using a sensitive scale and then record this mass in the spool properties.

The background, text, and button colors can be changed to create many combinations to use in this app.
